Summer’s Shaping Up For Norfolk Businesses!

Summer’s Shaping Up For Local Businesses With The Launch of The Norfolk Showgrounds Summer Team Activities with Huxley Events

With many teams meeting online for the past 2 years, new colleagues starting that you’ve still never met in the flesh, or the delayed celebrations from Christmas, there is no doubt that there is an insatiable desire for businesses and teams to get together this spring/summer.

The team at the Norfolk Showground and Huxley Events have developed an exciting selection of team building activities and company events, designed to get teams together, off video calls and (weather depending*) enjoying each other’s company in the great outdoors.

With over 150 acres of incredible parkland available for use, as well as an interesting selection of both smaller meeting rooms (like the cosy Colman Room) for more intimate groups, or large spaces for 4000+ (like The Arena) there is something for businesses small or large at the Norfolk Showground.

Combining their years of experience, the teams are now offering a variety of unique and engaging experiences for companies.

Think the Crystal Challenge outdoor team experience for 100 guests, with mental, physical and problem-solving challenges.. take on the towers of Hanoi, collecting crystals as you make your way around a series of fun team challenges, all competing

against one another ready to go head to head in the giant dome finale. Or perhaps your team want to learn new skills, improve communication, be captivated and entertained as they explore a crime scene whilst taking part in The Killing Crime Scene Investigation Experience designed by Real Scotland Yard Detectives. With the crime scenes out on the luscious Norfolk Showground lawns, the drinks flowing, food in abundance and the teams delving into case files, analysing fingerprints and searching for clues, it’s not hard to picture teams really taking it to the next level at the Norfolk Showground.

But it’s not just about the team… with the support families and loved ones offered to those during the past few years, there has been an increase in companies looking to say “thank you” to everyone this spring and summer by creating fun days for staff and those around them. From big bouncy things, to all the fun of the fair with full, private funfairs, face painters, entertainers, games, stalls, axe throwing, shooting, activities and more, the opportunities and creativity for events is endless.

Caroline Ellis, Marketing and Membership Executive from Norfolk Showground says “We are excited to be working with Huxley Events and create these unique team-building experiences here at the Showground. Bringing businesses together within the local community. As Norfolk’s Premier Events venue we have the perfect location to suit all needs, from outdoor space to state of the art Arena.”

Popular trends predicted for 2022 include a strong focus on sustainability or being eco-conscious for events, as well as reward and gratitude as a theme.

So whether you’re looking for a team-building activity, a family fun day for the whole company (and their loved ones), an intimate client dinner with high-end, hand-selected entertainment, or any other type of Corporate Event, be sure to reach out to the Norfolk Showground Team for your next event.
