3 Venue Ideas for Your Next Small London Team Building Experience

We’ve recently been working with a client on their event, and wanted to share a couple of the venue recommendations we made for their event!

With a small team of 10 guests, the client wanted something with lots of light, not too far from Holborn and lots of tea and coffee to keep the team fuelled!

They were looking for probably just a half day, afternoon team activity (they want to explore personality profiling with the Huxley Team for this event!)

So where did we suggest for 10 people?

Well, we like to keep things fresh and different, so recommended 3 very different places.

Smith’s of Smithfield:

If you want sleek, trendy and a cocktail on a rooftop to finish your event, then this is the place for you. With 2 stunning and intimate private dining rooms (The Market Room & The Gallery Room) to choose from, both funky and full of light. We love the brickwork, deep blues and wooden vibes. Both spaces hold 14 seated or 24 standing, and can be combined to make a larger room. With some of the most reasonable meeting packages in London (with the option to add post-events drinks too!) this comes in as Huxley’s number 1 recommendation.

(Quick thank you to the Story Events Team for the London Summer Party Show this year, as we met the fantastic Smith’s of Smithfield team there).

Wallacespace:

Bright, light, calming and fresh is definitely how we would describe the plethora of rooms and spaces at Wallacespace, Covent Garden Building. Boardroom style tables with the added extra of comfy sofas and plenty of plants and un-intrusive décor, making it ideal for team meetings and events. With an onsite café and in house chefs for all catering, and unlimited tea, coffee, snacks and refreshments this is a more “professional working” but certainly ticks all of the boxes for event spaces!

The Union Jack Club:

A bit of a “wild” card, and certainly different to the other 2 options. The Union Jack Club, the famous Central London Military Membership Club, makes you feel safer and more private than the majority of London venues. The Cowap and Langley rooms, on the 2nd floor, offer boardroom-style tables for up to 16 people in a bright, comfortable, contemporary business environment. More traditional, but an interesting place for your next event. The Union Jack Club’s team of skilled chefs can provide the very best in catering for your hungry guests.
